Made to the exact specifications of your Pro Rider Road King mobility scooter, this fully weather resistant mobility scooter canopy is a great way to stay dry and comfortable while you travel.
Made from durable nylon and fitted to the whole of your scooter’s frame, you will stay protected from the weather whatever the time of year.
These made to measure weather canopies for Pro Rider mobility scooters can only be purchased from Pro Rider direct and not via any third party seller.

Can I Claim VAT relief?

Individuals: If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. Full details can be found at HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to disabled people.

Charities: Where the goods are made available by the charity to a disabled person for their personal or domestic use. Full details can be found at HM Customs and Excise, Notice 701/7, Supplies to charities.

Non-eligible customers: If you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full VAT rate on the whole of your order. Please contact us so that we can re-calculate your bill.

To claim VAT Relief on your purchases you just need to complete a simple online form confirming the above. Please complete the “Claim VAT Relief” form online before adding your item to the basket. In this way your order will be automatically added to your shopping basket without VAT being charged.

Delivery / Return

Delivery

Orders are despatched via a courier service. Expected delivery times are up to 5 – 7 days within the UK Mainland and up to 5 – 9 days to Europe. Larger items such as road mobility scooters are despatched on a 2 man delivery service this means that the courier will arrange a convenient date to deliver your item.

While we aim to deliver within these timeframes at all times occasional delays are sometimes unavoidable.

Our customer service advisors are happy to offer advice on delivery timeframes or with the tracking of any order.

At the point of delivery all items should be checked for any damages and in this instance items should be signed for as damaged with the courier or rejected. They should also be reported directly to Pro Rider customer services team.

Even if you do not intend to use your purchase immediately, we kindly ask that all orders are thoroughly checked upon receipt. Any claims for damages or discrepancies must be submitted within 3 days of receipt of the item.

Returns

All return requests must be submitted in writing to sales@proridermobility.com.

Customers are entitled to return their purchase within 14 days, however, the item(s) must be returned in original packaging and perfect condition. Failure to return your item within this timeframe and in these conditions may result in a loss of resale value being deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible but can take up to 14 working days as returned items may need to be inspected by one of our engineers.

Customers are also advised to read our terms and conditions before purchasing any item.

How do I place my order?

Simply follow the onscreen instructions and if you are eligible for VAT relief remember to complete the Claim VAT Form before adding your item to the basket. Is it safe to order online?

Our site is 100% safe to order from. When ordering you are accessing an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) server, and all information is encrypted. Added to this, all our e-mails are PGP encrypted for added security. Pro Rider Mobility do not keep any payment information on file. As soon as payment is authorised the website automatically deletes all payment details and we only keep delivery information on file.

Can I test drive your products?

We welcome visitors to our Northampton and Birmingham showrooms. Please find our showroom contact details in the contact us section of the website. Before travelling to us please give us a call to check on availability.

Will I need to tax my mobility scooter?

If your scooter is suitable for road use (exceeds 4mph) then you will need to tax your scooter. However, there is no cost involved it is simply a case of registering your scooter with the DVLA. The paperwork for this will be largely completed by Pro Rider and forwarded to you for completion. All parts which need to be completed by the customer themselves are clearly indicated on the forms. DVLA paperwork is completed and despatched to you approximately a week after purchase. What is the warranty period?

All of our non-sale products have a one year warranty. For re-build or special offer items any warranty will be listed in the advert. Extended warranties are available on some items at the time of purchase.

What if I have a technical issue with my item?

Should a technical issue occur with your purchase our Service Department can be contacted on 01604 813350 weekdays 9am – 5pm or via email to service@proridermobility.com. Any warranty claims can also be directed to our service department. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full warranty and technical information.

How do I book a service?

We recommend that mobility scooters, bikes and golf trolleys are serviced annually. Services can be booked by contacting our service department. What if my question does not appear here?
