Succeeding the much beloved Minimo family, Pro Rider Leisure are pleased to introduce our customers to the Maximo, a larger, four wheel edition of the highly popular folding mobility scooter range from TGA Mobility. Users who are in search of greater repose without having to compromise on the convenience of a folding scooter will find the Maximo an absolute joy and must-have to get around.

Encompassing all of the practicality and convenience of the Minimo but in a more spacious design, the Maximo mobility scooter provides heightened stability and comfort yet can still be folded away for efficient transportation and easy storage. In its folded state – which can be achieved in seconds with the simple pull of a lever - the dimensions of the Maximo measure only 38 inches (97cm) long by 24 inches (60cm) wide and 21.5 inches (55cm) high, allowing the scooter to still fit comfortably in many car boots.

If you have a long term illness or disability and are using mobility aids to personally assist you with your daily living, you may be eligible for what is known as VAT exemption. This means that you don’t have to pay VAT on certain products from Pro Rider Mobility.

 

Can I Claim VAT Relief?

If you require advice as to your suitability for VAT relief, please consult with HM Customs and Excise Advice Service on 0845 010 9000. Alternatively, you can call us at Pro Rider Mobility Ltd 01604 537900 and we will be happy to help further.

 

Individuals:

If you are chronically sick or disabled and the products are for your personal use. Full details can be found at:

How to Claim

Claiming VAT relief on your order is a simple and straightforward process:

STEP 1    Add your chosen product to your basket, then click ‘checkout’

STEP 2    Fill in your shipping address and choose your shipping method, then click ‘pay now’

STEP 3    Fill in the claimant name and the reason for claiming, e.g. arthritis, then click ‘apply VAT exempt’ followed by ‘next’

STEP 4    Choose your payment method

Delivery / Return

Orders are despatched via a courier service. Expected delivery times are up to 5 – 7 days within the UK Mainland and up to 5 – 9 days to Europe. Larger items such as road mobility scooters are despatched on a 2 man delivery service this means that the courier will arrange a convenient date to deliver your item.

While we aim to deliver within these timeframes at all times occasional delays are sometimes unavoidable.

Our customer service advisors are happy to offer advice on delivery timeframes or with the tracking of any order.

At the point of delivery all items should be checked for any damages and in this instance items should be signed for as damaged with the courier or rejected. They should also be reported directly to Pro Rider customer services team.

Even if you do not intend to use your purchase immediately, we kindly ask that all orders are thoroughly checked upon receipt. Any claims for damages or discrepancies must be submitted within 3 days of receipt of the item.
